An Olympic-Sized Victory Lap For Christ

Yeah, so, LED saber is now a recognized international tournament thingy. I’m torn between “a newcomer’s easy introduction to Olympic fencing”, “A New Hope for my cosplay outfit“ and “let that Disney dumper fire burn in Hell”.

Come back, my readers! I don’t actually have a cosplay outfit! I’m not like that!

I didn’t win anything but had a fine time hitting people with swords and sticks. Similarly, I came back to politics to discover that Christians didn’t win anything, but are still doing the work of God just by showing up.

The openly satanic introduction to the 33rd (read: Masonic) Summer Olympics in Paris is making the rounds. Some pundits think Christians should not say anything lest we give free advertising to the devil, as if the devil’s greatest problem these days is being ignored. No, the devil doesn’t get to be ignored.

The devil gets to be REMINDED.

The Last Supper, featuring Jesus Christ and his apostles including the betrayer Judas, is an important piece of Christian history. The Paris Olympics had drag queens arrange themselves in a tableau that looked pretty darn close to the classic painting of The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci.

Sickeningly, there is a small child among the drag queens on display.

“The idea was to have a pagan celebration connected to the gods of Olympus. You will never find in me a desire to mock and denigrate anyone,” stated Thomas Jolly, the artistic director the oddball opening ceremony.

He’s not fooling anybody. He could have said “F Jeebus” and been celebrated even more loudly, but no. For all his libelous conduct, when he was confronted with “you disrespected Christ”, he denied it.

Why?

Serious question.

Another Olympics official stated: “Clearly there was never an intention to show disrespect to any religious group. On the contrary, I think (with) Thomas Jolly, we really did try to celebrate community tolerance.”

Again, why? Everybody knows this was an insult against Christ, not “any religious group.” The Zoroastrians weren’t the people ranting. The Shintos didn’t complain they were being mocked.

Yet when confronted, these blatant enemies of Christ didn’t even dare to speak the name of Christ whom they slandered, let alone admit their very obvious hatred.

Is that because they’re winning against Christ? What a curious definition of winning.

Bushra is correct, but he doesn’t know what he’s staring at. Those are not the enemies of Christians. Those are the enemies of Christ. There’s a difference.

Our God is real. Among other implications, that means Christ fights His own fights. Sometimes He uses His followers, but not always, and when He does, it’s often in a way that allows zero room for the pretention that it was the humans who won. Elijah’s fireballs? The Walls of Jericho? There were humans in those conflicts, but nobody thought that human efforts were the deciding factor.

Muslims avenge insults against Allah, because Allah can’t. My proposal to you Muslims: I will blaspheme and curse your god, after which, you only peacefully complain and watch what your god does to me. Do you think there’s any chance, if you agreed to that, that warnings of your god’s displeasure would scare me into backing down? Of course not.

Guess what.

Jolly backed down exactly like that.

If you attack us Christians then we’ll defend ourselves, obviously, but it may surprise you that we Christians are NOT called upon to defend the honor of Christ. That’s unpopular even among Christians, that we don’t fight God’s battles, God fights God’s battles. Partly that’s because we often end up as the battlefield; partly that’s because we want the Jolly wickedness to end hard & fast enough to give the next perp second thoughts, not the first perp a second chance.

But Christianity is not about worldly power. It’s about spiritual power. Uniquely among all religions, it’s not just Christ’s followers who believe in Him… it’s also Christ’s enemies! Where are the anti-Muslims? The anti-Buddhists? But anti-Christians are a thing, even though they fear to admit it.

Look at Jolly Lies taking back his anti-Christ disses, ye Muslims, without his facing even a single death threat from us, and behold what True Power looks like. No human made Jolly back down.
