Resurfacing after a pleasant Christmas holiday, which had me twitching in headline-chasing dopamine withdrawal, my first thought was about the mysterious drone invasion’s coincidental timing with the legislative power grab that didn’t have a purpose until said invasion. That bill hadn’t been voted on at all! Time to check my math.
Rand Paul blocks Schumer bill on mystery drone detection

Math is checked, and I didn’t have to put down my Christmas cookies.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) blocked an attempt to give law enforcement greater authority to monitor drone activity in the wake of mystery sightings across the Northeast.
Paul objected to a request from Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) on Wednesday to pass legislation expanding the federal government’s ability to detect and mitigate the threat of drones amid a wave of sightings over New Jersey, New York, and beyond.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), joined by Peters on the Senate floor, argued the bill would keep federal agencies from becoming stretched too thin. He noted its provisions extending drone monitoring authorities to state and local police.
But Paul, a libertarian who opposes the government’s surveillance authorities, claimed the legislation amounted to a power grab.
Peters introduced the legislation in 2023, before the unexplained aerial sightings. Congress has increasingly become concerned by the safety risks posed by the proliferation of drones commercially.
But the bill picked up new traction following eyewitness reports of large drones flying over the night skies, with Schumer announcing he would become a co-sponsor Sunday in a letter urging the Department of Homeland Security to deploy more drone-detection equipment.
Schumer is behind it, eh? More like an Airspace ((Alien)) invasion, then. As I claimed, the drone hysteria was to terrorize… literally terror-ize, as in domestic terrorist activity directed against Congress… FBI should be all over that… I bet it’s “on their radar”… ahem, terrorizing FedGov into weaponing the domestic possession and use of drones.
Morale remains high among the general public, however.
Perhaps menacing New Jersey wasn’t the smartest move for a terror campaign, but the feigned ignorance would have been impossible in a Red State.
Anyway, very few of the headlines on this topic actually said what the bill was. This article provided an unlabeled link to the Safeguarding the Homeland from the Threats Posed by Unmanned Aircraft Systems Act introduced by Arizona Senator Karen err, Kyrsten Sinema in late May 2023, a year and a half ago. That differs from this article’s account of Senator Peters introducing it, but turns out they’re co-sponsors… not even that. Peters is Sinema’s boss on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. I presume that’s the Senate parallel to the House bill that I covered in my previous post.
Seems nobody has been in a hurry to pass it. The demand for UFO invasions clearly exceeds the supply.
Thus, I remain correct about the motivation but didn’t see Rand Paul coming. (Neither did the Deep State.) The mystery UFO invasion is continuing because the conspirators still need the legislation passed:
Gov. Murphy: 'Sophisticated systems' being used to look for drones in NJ

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy provided an update on the recent drone sightings reported across the state.
He spent the weekend observing new technology being used to track the drones. The equipment is on loan from the federal government.
The governor spent part of the weekend meeting with the New Jersey State Police and the FBI after the state received three sophisticated systems from the federal government to monitor the skies and identify unmanned aircraft.
"They can do everything, including mitigate the equipment, but they're not authorized to do that in the United States," explained Murphy. "They can tell with great certainty what an object is, and that'll continue."
Murphy says the equipment - and experts manning it - will change locations to scan the area of critical infrastructure.
"They can do everything, including mitigate the equipment…
That means “shoot them down”, I believe. What the military should have been doing to the drones violating its military-jurisdiction airspace months ago.
…but they're not authorized to do that in the United States," explained Murphy. "They can tell with great certainty what an object is, and that'll continue."
“They're not authorized to do that in the United States” because Rand Paul said No like a boss. Choke on your drones, cyber crybullies! Yay Rand!
I wonder whose drones they plan to ‘mitigate’ intact. The current Top Ten Threats To American National Security are
10.Mexico
9.Canadian Truckers
8.China
7.Russia in Ukraine
6.Russia in Syria Chicago
5.North Korea
4.Germany’s Alternative for Deutschland
3.Iran
2.Iran
1.Iran-backed Houthi rebels
Our only clue that is FedGov has repeatedly denied the existence of a space ali-Iranian mothership cunningly hidden behind the Moon off the coast of New Jersey tasked with assassinating Donald Trump. Unless you count the, what, three carrier groups sent against the Houthis?
Murphy says the equipment - and experts manning it - will change locations to scan the area of critical infrastructure.
Because New Jersey is such a large state, or because they need an excuse for not delivering results too soon? Rand Paul is right, this is 9/11 Patriot Act all over again…
…but this time, fake and gay.
I love the Top 10 List!
