Let’s do some time travel! I reviewed the case of Wess Roley, who ambushed firefighters in the notoriously conservative eh, Republican bastion of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and concluded he wasn’t a windup toy. Just another troubled child from a family that should never have been broken. It’s a pleasant surprise that we haven’t suffered many such incident by this point in feminism… in fifth-wave, fifth-column, full-frontal witchcraft feminism!
And speaking of witches, we’re in for one ugly divorce.
Alleged photo of accused Idaho shooter's parents in MAGA hats is everywhere online. Here's what to know

Ahh, debunking Snopes is like... like crossing fencing sabers against a blustering fat kid who signed the entry forms and paid the fee without noticing it’s an internationally ranked tournament, nor did he wear an athletic cup. Ye shall pave my road to victory!
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, outside of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, a gunman started a brush fire and then shot and killed two firefighters and injured a third who were responding to the blaze. According to the Kootenai County sheriff's office, the gunman killed himself before he could be apprehended.
When the name of the suspect — Wess Roley — was released, the internet began doing what it has done for some time when there is a widely reported tragedy —
Guessing the perpetrator’s gender?
…attempting to independently determine the perpetrator's family history and their political beliefs.
Basically the same thing, although ‘child of divorce’ is the free spot on the Mass Shooter bingo card.
Posts on social media, including Reddit, Facebook and X quickly appeared showing Roley's mother and stepfather, Heather Lynn Cuchiara and Tony Cuchiara, posing in front of the White House wearing "Make America Great Again" hats — the two appeared to support U.S. President Donald Trump.
Please kindly keep your Trump Derangement in check, Snopes. Of all the accusations you could make towards MAGAtards ranging from stupid to evil, violence towards authority figures is not one that will stick. That’s what YOU do.
Mmm, iron bars around the District of Criminals… what a great idea, to make America great ag… hey, wait. The shooter’s parents are married? to each other? still? *GunnerQ glances at his bingo card.* Riiight, that’s the stepfather…
This picture is not what a lot of people assume it is.
Snopes readers wrote in asking if the photo was real. We reached out to a lawyer serving as the spokesperson for Roley's family to ask for comment on the story and to verify the photo, but had not heard back at the time of writing.
In most cases, individuals in situations like this delete their social media accounts quickly after the news breaks. Indeed, that happened here — while Snopes was attempting to verify the post, personal accounts of Heather and Tony Cuchiara were set to private or deleted.
We did not find the photo on the accounts we were able to access before they were deleted. As such, we were unable to directly verify that the post was authentic, since its origin, if real, must have been a now-deleted social media account.
What is certain, however, is that the woman in the White House photo is Heather Cuchiara.
I must give Snopes credit for mentioning “stepfather” one time in passing, but then they focused on the hats.
A deleted Instagram account under the handle "heather_and_tony_" matched the name "Heather Lynn Cuchiara" and contained a recent post with a caption celebrating the 20th birthday of someone named "Wess," which was the age announced by the sheriff's office. On that account, Snopes found a tattoo on the inside of Heather Cuchiara's right forearm that was also visible in the White House photo. The ink appeared to read "Love Dad."
The fact that those small details were exactly correct essentially guaranteed that the photo was not AI-generated, since AI tools struggle to depict fine details. And while Snopes couldn't definitively rule out that the image was photoshopped, a careful look for any signs of digital editing didn't reveal anything suspicious.
Although we can't definitively conclude that the MAGA hat photo is authentic and unmanipulated without direct confirmation from Heather or Tony Cuchiara, there is no evidence that the photo was faked or edited.
“We think they really were wearing MAGA hats!” okay, but where’s Daddy?
Idaho sniper suspect Wess Roley’s dad allegedly made disturbing threats against family during divorce — eerily mirroring son’s attack

The father of Idaho gunman Wess Roley once allegedly threatened to start a fire and shoot his family with a sniper rifle — eerily echoing the deadly crime his son carried out Sunday.
The chilling revelation came as it also surfaced that Roley, who killed two firefighters and critically injured a third, had hoped to become a smoke-eater himself, his grandpa said.
“He wanted to be a fireman — he was doing tree work, and he wanted to be a fireman in the forest,” the grandfather, Dale Roley, told CNN. “As far as I know, he was actually pursuing it.”
Wess Roley was identified as the Idaho sniper suspect Monday.
On Sunday, Roley, 20, set a blaze in the woods of Canfield Mountain near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — then opened fire from a concealed position on responding firefighters.
Roley — who previously lived in Arizona and ran track in high school — was later found dead nearby from a gunshot wound.
The slaughter came a decade after Roley’s mother wrote in 2015 court papers that his father “threatened to sit outside my house with a sniper rifle or burn my house down,” CNN reported.
Roley’s granddad said he “had no reason to suspect that [his grandson] would be involved in something like this,” including because the killer had wanted to be a fireman.
“It wasn’t like he was a loner,” the grandfather added, explaining that Roley had a supportive family and friends.
He said the pair usually spoke about once a week but that they hadn’t talked in about a month because Roley had lost his phone.
About a decade earlier, during his parents’ messy divorce — which unfolded when Roley was 10 years old – a protective order barring his father from contacting his family was granted to his mother.
The mom said in court papers at the time that the father also shoved her to the ground and then “punched several holes in the walls.”
The father denied the claims of violence, insisting “I am not a danger to my son or anyone else” and that she “did not tell the truth in her statement,” documents showed.
I 100% believe the father in the absence of any evidence, let alone any criminal conviction, which means stepfather Tony is an adulterer by the Biblical definition of marrying a divorced woman whose husband is still alive.
Piecing together a timeline with help from
h ttps://thesportsgrail.com/who-are-jason-roley-and-heather-lynn-kuuipo-cuchiara-parents-of-wess-roley-and-more-about-the-idaho-shooters-family-mom-dad-step-father-and-mother/
There was an ugly divorce in 2015 when Wess was age 10. He lived in Arizona with his mother until he turned 18, then moved to Idaho and worked at bio-Dad’s company as an arborist. That’s a promising sign that he recognized the problem parent was Mommy when as soon as he legally could, he moved cross-country to Dad.
His mother Heather had reportedly filed for divorce in 2015 when Wess was ten, alleging threats and violence by her ex-husband, Jason including claims that he had pushed her, punched holes in walls, and issued disturbing threats involving a sniper rifle and arson. A judge initially issued a protective order barring the father from contacting either his wife or son, though that order was later modified to remove Wess, after the father submitted a court filing denying any danger and disputing the accusations.
Jason was a Former tech at Grand Canyon Harley-Davidson from 2019 – 2021, a former Cavalry Scout at U.S. Army and former climber at Roley’s Tree Care “Your Local Tree Care Doctor”.
That suggests Jason tried to live near his kids post-divorce, but eventually gave it up to make better money at the family arborist business. Possibly for sanity, also. When a man comes to the realization that his kids will never belong to him again, shutting the door lets the wound scar up.
The divorce was finalized later that year, with custody awarded to Wess’ mother, who was named his primary residential guardian. His father, now living in Priest River, Idaho—roughly an hour from the shooting site—told a reporter that he had not been close with his son and hadn’t seen him since a family gathering the previous year. He did not comment further on the earlier court allegations.
I guess that he & Dad weren’t able to reconcile, although he apparently did with grandpa. Living in a car is not unusual for remote lumber work, except for the implication that Dad hadn’t let him move in. I think that would have been reported if true. Perhaps Dad had had enough interaction with Wess to recognize him as a threat…
Wess of Idaho has a prior arrest for assault in 2024. This incident involved him allegedly attacking a woman with a knife, for which he was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon and he pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor assault, receiving a sentence of 180 days in jail with 150 days suspended. He was also ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and complete anger management classes.
A reasonable punishment for a first offender. Prison is well-known to harden kids.
That being said, in hindsight Wess was not in a good place. Grandpa reports attempt to join the fire department, but I’d read somewhere that Wess was rejected for being short. I’d guess that that work appealed to Wess because it would’ve been a structured environment & lifetime employment in addition to… in rural North Idaho… being related to his work history in forest management. I don’t have a date on that application but it had to have been made within a year of 2024.
So, he escaped his abusive mother, failed to reconnect with his estranged father, was rejected by the fire department, reduced to living in his car with a criminal record, and then he lashed out at the firefighters by reenacting the threat his mother made against an innocent man. Perhaps he perceived the firefighters as a would-be father figure that wouldn’t or couldn’t help him.
Wess Roley’s mom is Heather and alleged stepfather is Tony aka Anthony Modesto Cuchiara whose Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2009 had almost $130K in consumer credit debt whilst averaging less than $10K per year over the previous 3 years.
She left a military-veteran, motorcycle-mechanic lumberjack with his own company for THAT?
Photos showing Roley, a white American and his family have surfaced on social media and in some of the images, two individuals, believed to be his mother and stepfather, are seen wearing MAGA hats and posing in front of the White House. Another image appears to show a MAGA sign displayed outside a residence and posts also claim that Roley’s parents recently traveled to Washington, D.C., from Phoenix, Arizona.
I don’t see any Mk-ULTRA shenanigans in this story, neither a transgender angle.
What I do see, is the unrelated issue of using that MAGA picture to discredit the Republicanism of Coeur d’Alene, a city that successfully thwarted displaced-by-their-own-Marxist-beliefs Seattleites from reenacting Seattle in Idaho.
Snopes claimed the picture probably hadn’t been digitally altered, but they clearly underplayed the temporal alteration of “that’s no longer his father, hanging out with his mother”. A real fact-checker would admit that Wess’ father, a man who once faced vile wife-accusations that even a divorce judge didn’t believe, has never self-identified as MAGA in social media.
This bears some similarity to the salon shooting in Seal Beach back in 2011. Only that time it was one of the "stepdads".
