César Chavez accused of sexually abusing labor rights leader Dolores Huerta and others

Labor rights activist Dolores Huerta revealed she was among women and girls who say they were sexually abused by César Chavez, the widely admired Latino icon who brought to light the struggles of farmhands while leading the United Farm Workers union.
The stunning allegations against Chavez, who died more than three decades ago, drew immediate calls to alter memorials honoring the man who in the 1960s helped secure better wages and working conditions for farmworkers and has been long revered by many Democratic leaders in the U.S.
In a statement released Wednesday, Huerta said she stayed silent for 60 years out of concern that her words would hurt the farmworker movement.
No, that is not how this works. Somebody made the decision to memoryhole Chavez, then found Huerta for a (spoiler) 66-year-old pretext. What came after her accusation was too much, too fast, to have come from nowhere. Nowhere as in, “ from a five-year investigation by the New York Times that shockingly discovered what everybody already knew, and was announced at a convenient moment in the election cycle”:
The New York Times first reported Wednesday that it found Chavez groomed and sexually abused young girls who worked in the movement. Huerta, too, revealed to the newspaper that she was a victim of the abuse in her 30s.
Nobody ever believed that a high-profile Marxist hero of Creepy Joe Biden was NOT a rapist, although many would claim otherwise because Glorious Progress must be protected from inconvenient acts of justice. That’s not my opinion, that’s accuser Huerta’s!
Huerta later said both sexual encounters with Chavez led to pregnancies, which she kept secret, and that she arranged for the children to be raised by other families. “No one knew the full truth about how they were conceived until just a few weeks ago,” she said in her statement.
“I’m empowered!” cheered the violently impregnated rape victim.
Reactions Wednesday were swift from many in both parties.
Days before the allegations were revealed publicly, several César Chavez celebrations in San Francisco, Texas and in his home state of Arizona were canceled at the request of the César Chavez Foundation. Organizers of canceled events did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Associated Press.
Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said the state will not observe the César Chavez Day holiday and that he will urge the state Legislature to remove it altogether.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom said he was still processing the news.
A spokesperson for Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs said she has declined to recognize March 31 as César Chavez Day as she has in the two prior years. César Chavez Day isn’t a state holiday in Arizona.
“We just found out that honoring him was illegal, ten seconds after he was accused of rayyyype!” One wonders why the announcement was made a couple weeks before “Chavez Day”.
Next week, the Phoenix City Council is set to vote on whether to rename the March 31 holiday, as well as buildings and city streets that bear Chavez’s name. The mayor and two city council members want the holiday to be renamed Farmworkers Day.
Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller ordered a review of how Chavez is recognized across the city. And U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Luján, a New Mexico Democrat, said: “His name should be removed from landmarks, institutions and honors.”
A textbook memory-holing straight outta 1984. Okay, so what’s the REAL reason this is happening?
Cesar Chavez erased across California as statues fall, streets renamed and murals wiped

Cesar Chavez is disappearing across California.
Statues are coming down, street names are being stripped, and murals are being covered up in a rapid-fire backlash against the once-revered labor leader, as officials move to distance public spaces from a legacy now under scrutiny.
In San Fernando, a statue of Chavez was removed Thursday, while at Santa Ana College, murals and other campus imagery bearing his likeness have been covered.
In Fresno, city leaders unanimously voted to strip Chavez’s name from a major boulevard, restoring its original designation, a dramatic reversal of a tribute that once symbolized pride in the civil rights icon.
Symbols that once cemented Chavez’s status as a civil rights hero are being dismantled piece by piece — following stunning allegations that he raped and molested two girls beginning at the age of 12 and raping his longtime ally, Dolores Huerta.
For decades, Chavez was widely celebrated as the co-founder of the United Farm Workers, a labor movement icon who championed the rights of farmworkers and became a symbol of Latino political empowerment.
But newly surfaced allegations about his sexual misconduct have prompted public officials to reconsider decades of honors tied to his name.
Chávez died in 1993 at age 66.
Age 66, they say, on 23 April 1993. There was a bitter, 17-year lawsuit over the growth of “Red Coach bagged salad” between the UFW and Bruce Church Inc.. Chavez gave two days of testimony while staying at a friend’s house and died on the third day. The family reported natural causes but wikipedia claims the actual autopsy was inconclusive. I found reports of personal animosity between Chavez and then-BCI owner Ted Taylor, but no details.
Dolores Huerta was one of the signatories on the (apparently out-of-court) contract ending the dispute. Steve Taylor, Ted’s son signed for BCI, later dying of heart & lung failure at the age…
drum roll
…of 67 in 2021.
You know those prepackaged bags of salad in the grocery store? BCI first developed those under the name Fresh Express. They use a special gas mixture in the bags to keep the lettuce fresh. Anyway, he died at a judicially suspicious moment at the Freemason-ally suspicious age of 66. (BCI was founded by Irish immigrants after a stint in the timber industry, for what it’s worth. Actual Masonic involvement unproven.)
Chavez is accused of abusing the now-66-year-old woman for years in the late 1970s, when he led the United Farm Workers union, according to a New York Times investigation.
SUSPICIOUS!
There are a few possibilities:
Gov. Newsom has such tight control of California’s voting system that he no longer needs the political support of labor unions.
Mexico is about to become a major political liability. Trump has been breathing threats in that direction for years, but you’d think him too busy at the moment.
Zionists found a way to sabotage the UFW as a vote-generator in the upcoming midterm elections, with a side of payback for interfering with ICE, and I just convinced myself.
UFW faces potential lawsuits over César Chávez sexual abuse allegations

LOS ANGELES - The United Farm Workers union is grappling with the fallout following bombshell reports of systemic sexual abuse by late labor leader César Chávez.
The allegations are the result of a five-year investigation by The New York Times, which reviewed decades of records, photographs, and personal manuscripts. The reporting includes claims from women, now in their 60s, who allege Chávez abused them when they were children.
There were previous allegations, even at the time, so this was no random investigation being released whenever it was finished.
On the one hand, this is always the case:
Legal experts suggest the organization could face potential liability if it is proven that leadership failed to protect children on their premises.
On the other hand, the struggle session has already begun:
In an official statement, the UFW characterized the allegations—which include the sexual assault of minors and the rape of co-founder Dolores Huerta—as “shocking” and “indefensible.”
The union has confirmed it will not participate in any events honoring Chávez’s legacy this year, effectively halting its own tradition of celebrating the March 31 holiday.
The UFW must now navigate a “dismantling of a movement” as the public reconciles Chávez’s civil rights achievements with these grave accusations.
Further details regarding the union’s internal knowledge of these events are expected to surface as more victims come forward.
The UFW and the César Chávez Foundation are partnering with experts to establish a “formal, independent, and confidential process” to facilitate repair and accountability for those harmed.
Simultaneously, California state and local officials are reviewing the naming of public parks, schools, and the state holiday itself.
Newsom might no longer need the UFW to backstop him politically, but he wouldn’t get rid of them before the upcoming and sure-to-be-contested midterm elections. Keeping them around for his expected, 2028 Presidential run would also be smart. That rules out Option #1.
And not option #2. Mexico hasn’t been doing much in the American headlines. Nothing to prompt such an extreme reaction.

Farm Workers to march on federal courthouse protesting Trump’s wage cuts
h ttps://www.peoplesworld.org/article/farm-workers-to-march-on-federal-courthouse-protesting-trumps-wage-cuts/
By Mark Gruenberg, 16 March 2026
FRESNO, Calif.—The United Farm Workers and their allies will march on the federal courthouse in Fresno, California, on March 18 to protest new Trump administration rules they say will cut their already low pay.
And then, Suddenly happened. Thwarting a major protest could explain the early release. Saving the release for Chavez’s birthday next month would have had a bigger shock value, but the last thing Trump Admin needs right now is a domestic flare-up.
The rules governing how many workers can be admitted under H2-A visas, and how much to cut their minimum pay, will be the subject of a challenge in federal court that day.
Trump’s solution [to the farm labor shortage], which his Labor Department proposed in August but delayed implementing until this March because of notice-and-comment requirements, is to expand the number of H-2A visas and cut the minimum pay owners can shell out by anywhere from a dollar an hour to seven dollars an hour, UFW says. USDA sets the pay rates, but the Labor Department enforces the H-2A visa program.
Tell me again that Trump is deporting migrants?
The wage cuts vary depending on the crop involved and the state in which the workers toil. Most of the farmworker H-2A visas go to workers in the three West Coast states of Oregon, Washington, and California. Hence, the lawsuit was filed in Fresno, where the march on the courthouse will be.
Both the pay cuts and the visa expansion benefit the owners by expanding their worker pool at lower pay. The owners, including those of so-called “factory farms,” say they operate on a small margin.
Well, well. Trump is depressing farming wages, and if labor unions have a legitimate purpose in society, it’s preventing exactly that kind of worker abuse. Such behavior shouldn’t get a pass just because it targets migrants. That means the Cancellation of Chavez, and by extension his United Farm Workers organization, is a quadruple benefit for Zionism. UFW is…
1, A political ally of Trump’s designated rival, Governor Newsom
2. A powerful Globalist factor in election cycles
3. An effective opponent of the ICE agenda (which is not deportation)
4. A defender of billionaire-exploited workers across America
Accusing Chavez sounds like a clever Zionist using the Globalist’s own internal-policing machinery to nuke a rival at a politically expedient time. Clever, except I don’t think anybody can predict the fallout of suddenly disorganizing, while impoverishing farm workers across America at the start of planting season. On top of the Iran conflict cutting off fertilizer & fuel shipments, no less. Love or hate California, we’re still a breadbasket of a state, and it just got a little harder to believe that the Zionists aren’t intentionally sabotaging the entire world’s food supply.

Food from Cali is already really expensive. I've had to start making my own Lo Mein noodles because they are like $6/lb for fresh-frozen (that would be $10 or $12/lb if they were dry).
It just keeps going like this. What's their end goal?
