Rebuilding the post-Brandon GAE as the dominant military power is not something that can be done in a day. I suspect that if the Don is planning any wars, he's going to wait at least a couple of years if he can, just to get the Military-Industrial wheels greased and turning properly, purge the freaks and get actual soldiers trained.
Naturally, he'll want this army to consist of the young white men he's currently trying to get hyped for "America" being "back". They're both more competent and more disciplined than any vibrant class — especially the Pajeets, who do okay in a call center, not so okay in a tank.
He's trying to positively motivate us and get the old, red blood pumping. Buuuuut... if that doesn't exactly draw the numbers he wants, I think food shortages are a good back-end negative incentive. "Soldiers and their families get priority on rations! Sign up to get real food instead of powdered rat meat!"
I don't see him rebuilding the white male war machine ever. He's already told young men that America will be better off when they're replaced with smarter Pajeets, and those young men already know they have no chance at a house or wife. Not to mention, "Die for Israel if you want to eat food" will be a hard sell if food in Canada and Mexico remains cheap.
Looking at the political calendar, Trump has until the midterms before his political capital begins draining away. Neither is Netanyahu doing well in Israel; he's dodging arrest warrants and subpoenas even domestically at this point. Everybody knows Trump is going to incite a war against Iran before his term is up, but that means <4 years, and he's already retasking the American economy to build Satan.AI. He already has as much military as he's going to.
"...will be a hard sell if food in Canada and Mexico remains cheap."
Meanwhile, Canadians This close to accepting Statehood if it means getting Castrudeau out of their hair, we've already established that he's on None-too-Friendly terms with Meheecko, and Vance seems like an easy sell for '28 if the administration keeps cranking out "wins" like they have been.
Boomers will fall in for it no matter what he does, but I feel like I'm seeing a good bit of support on the ground for him among the younger guys, Pajeet invasion or no.
I could be wrong. But that's what it looks like, based on what I see around my work. I don't range as far as you do.
The egg price increase is also due to a large number of (all Blue) states enacting non-free-range chicken farming bans, which all went into effect on January first. Some of these bans were enacted years and years ago, but didn't go into effect until this year. This has been in the works a long time.
The real question is: when will private ownership of hens be banned, or else made untenably difficult?
